Squash Court Maintenance

A recent court we worked on need a refurbishment, as you can see by the pictures the main wall had large pieces of plaster missing. A lot of sport centres have tried to repair their courts by using need filler such as Poly filler, this is something we do not recommend, it might look good for a while but it will eventually crack and fall out.

Squash Court Maintenance

At KCS we use Armourcoat Top coat plaster to carry out repairs which is a resin based hard plaster which has a much long life.

After the plaster as cured the walls were painted with Centurion Squash Court paint, which is a very hard wearing surface coating, intended for use on squash court walls.
The coating has low glare properties and is non powdery making it ideal for this application; it has excellent adhesion and opacity.

The floor was then sanded using an 80 grit sanding disc which removes dirt and marks from the floor which creates a smooth safe playing surface.

The red lines were then repainted giving the squash court the clean new look.
